By downloading, installing, or using CareLabl ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Service Description
CareLabl is a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to analyze photographs of clothing care labels and provide plain-language care instructions and fabric composition information.
Disclaimer of Accuracy
Care instructions and fabric composition provided by CareLabl are informational only and are not a guarantee of accuracy. AI image analysis may produce incorrect results, particularly with damaged, faded, or partially obscured labels. Always exercise your own judgment when caring for garments. CareLabl is not liable for any damage to clothing or other items resulting from following the App's instructions.
Subscriptions
Free Trial
New users receive a 3-day free trial of CareLabl Pro with full access to all features. No credit card is required. At the end of the trial period, you must subscribe to continue using the app.
Pro Subscription
CareLabl Pro is available as a monthly ($3.99/month), annual ($24.99/year), or lifetime ($49.99 one-time) purchase. Pro provides unlimited scans and full garment wardrobe access.
Auto-Renewal (App Store and Google Play)
Subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Google Play automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID or Google Play account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Cancellation (App Store and Google Play)
You can cancel your App Store or Google Play subscription at any time through your device's subscription management settings (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided. These subscriptions are governed by Apple's or Google's terms, not by us.
Refunds (App Store and Google Play)
Refund requests for subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Google Play are handled by Apple or Google respectively, according to their refund policies. CareLabl does not process these refunds directly.
Web Billing (carelabl.com)
CareLabl Pro may also be purchased directly on carelabl.com as an auto-renewing subscription via RevenueCat Web Billing, powered by Stripe. These terms apply to web-purchased subscriptions:
- Auto-renewal: Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) until you cancel. Your payment method on file with Stripe is charged at renewal.
- Cancellation: You can cancel at any time using the manage-subscription link included in your receipt email, or by contacting support@carelabl.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain Pro access until then.
- Management: Web subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat and Stripe — not through Apple or Google. You cannot manage a web-purchased subscription through your device's App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
- Refunds: Refund requests for web purchases must be submitted to us directly at support@carelabl.com. We will review each request and respond in a timely manner. We do not offer automatic refunds for unused portions of a billing period.
- Redemption: After purchasing on the web, you will receive a redemption link by email. Open that link on your iOS device to activate Pro access in the CareLabl app.
Web-purchased subscriptions are governed by these Terms and administered by CareLabl, not Apple or Google.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Interfere with the App's servers or infrastructure
- Use automated systems to make excessive API requests
- Resell or redistribute care instruction data obtained from the App
Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, and original iconography, is the intellectual property of CareLabl. All rights reserved. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CareLabl shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States.
